Clubs are slowly turning their eyes toward the summer window, and Transfer Talk has the updates on all the latest rumours.

United make Kroos key summer target

The Independent reports that Jose Mourinho has made it clear that he needs to add a midfielder, with Kroos the man in his sights.

It adds that United "have a long-standing interest in the Germany international and almost signed him in 2014 before he went to Real Madrid."

Although Kroos is seen as a major player at the Bernabeu, he could move on at the end of the season.

The Independent writes that "word has got around the top European clubs that the Champions League holders will make some high-profile sales as they seek to overhaul their squad and buy a huge star."

United are ready to find out "how resistant they would be to selling Kroos," but should that not work out, Borussia Dortmund's Julian Weigl -- also linked with Manchester City -- is in their sights.

Spurs hope it's third time lucky with Zaha

It reports that Spurs, strongly linked with Zaha in the two previous windows, "are confident of winning the battle" to sign him in the summer despite competition from Chelsea and Manchester City.
