MANCHESTER -- A decision to move Manchester United's FA Cup tie with Yeovil Town to Friday night has been condemned by the club's supporters' group.

United's fourth round tie at Huish Park has been moved to Friday, Jan. 26 and will be shown live on BBC One.

But it means supporters will now have to make the nine-hour 440-mile round trip to Somerset on a weekday, either incurring the extra expense of staying over following the 7.55 p.m. kick-off or returning to Manchester in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The Manchester United Supporters Trust (MUST) have hit out at the decision, insisting it has been made with no consideration for travelling fans.

A MUST spokesman said: "Yet again broadcasters have totally ignored the impact on away fans when considering what will be best for television ratings.

"Although this is far from just a problem in the FA Cup, we would urge the FA to look at mitigating against such issues in future contracts.
