Ensminger named LSU's OC, replacing Canada

BATON ROUGE, La. -- LSU football coach Ed Orgeron has promoted tight ends coach Steve Ensminger to offensive coordinator.

Ensminger held the position for eight games in 2016 when Orgeron initially replaced Les Miles on an interim basis.

Ensminger's promotion, announced Wednesday, comes after previous offensive coordinator Matt Canada agreed late last week to a $1.7 million buyout following just one season.
