Giving back helps Dak Prescott put things in perspective after Atlanta loss

FRISCO, Texas -- On Monday, Dak Prescott served meals to the less fortunate at The Salvation Army in Dallas. On Tuesday, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback filmed a commercial that will air on Thanksgiving Day that will benefit The Salvation Army.

As part of his partnership with Tostitos, a portion of each purchase of Tostitos Yellow Corn Bite Size tortilla chips will go to The Salvation Army through the holiday season.

Its important to me to use my platform and get with the right sponsors, get with the right organizations that will do the things that Im proud to be a partner with, and thats what the Salvation Army and Tostitos are doing with this campaign of giving back, Prescott said. It gives everyone a chance that might not have much money the chance to give back.

As part of the commercial, which was filmed outside Ford Center at The Star before meetings and a walk-through today, Prescott will ring a larger-than-life Salvation Army bell.

His trip to The Salvation Army on Monday was a humbling and great experience, he said.
