Broncos continue to hammer home need 'to play to our standard'

From ESPN - October 13, 2017

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The injury report for Sunday's game tells a rather complete tale for both the Denver Broncos and New York Giants.

For the Broncos, who are coming off a bye week, there are no starters listed as "out" for Sunday's game at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Wide receiver Cody Latimer (knee) and quarterback Paxton Lynch (shoulder) are the only players who missed practice time this week because of injury. It means the Broncos are, across the roster, as healthy as they have been since early in training camp.

The Giants, however, have listed seven players on the league's game-status report as "out" for Sunday's game in Denver. Six, including five starters, are injured. Cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie has been suspended by the team.

That total also does not even include the three wide receivers, including Odell Beckham Jr. and Brandon Marshall, the Giants placed on injured reserve early in the week. Broncos coach Vance Joseph said after Friday's practice the Giants' injuries have been accounted for in the Broncos' game-planning process, but it is not something he would specifically remind them about in Saturday night's team meeting.
